Went in for the first time, all of the staff had such good vibes and friendly nature. Felt very welcomed. The ambience is beautiful. Affordable price and amazing quantity of dishes. They accommodated all the allergies/food restrictions our group had. If you are vegan/vegetarian/allergic to certain food, this restaurant will accommodate and has a variety of dishes to do so.

I almost cried when I ate this Khao soi gai (Curry chicken noodles) today. Both the taste and the plating were exactly same as Thailand. Even in Thailand, this taste is exceptionally outstanding. I didn't expect to have such authentic flavors of Thai food in Thunder bay. I appreciated the skill of the chef and thanked Thai Kitchen for providing me this amazing Thai cuisine here. I don't need to fly to Thailand anymore.

This place is amazing every time I come to town I have to stop in twice. Cute and cozy well decorated. Food portions are big and the price is unbeatable. Staff is always attentive, fast and friendly. Do yourself a favor and go.

SALWEEN RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Super yummy foods! We were going to Toronto and drove by this place. We ordered all five different items on the menu and they were all so good! I would like to suggest to the white folks, get out of your comfort zone and try different menus other than “Pad Thai”. If you want to try one of these menus, you can just show them the following pictures! I’m definitely returning if I’m ever going to drive by Thunder Bay. Satisfaction level is 100%.

We had a bit of an order mix up which the staff happily and quickly resolved, and also resulted in the chance to taste their Krapow Moo Krob w/ Egg and it was delicious. We also had the green and yellow curries, which were equally as delicious. Great customer service, fresh veggies, vibrant flavours, and a wait time that was 2 & 1/2 hours quicker than Thai Kitchen.

We had their super tasty sausages this week at the market. Wow... The mix of pork, noodle and sticky rice was delicious. I'll definitely be looking for them again. Thanks for the treat.

Amazing food, generous portions and excellent service. We started with Shumai, which was delicious, and one plate of 10 pieces is enough for two people; then we ordered the Tom yum soup was unbelievable; I felt like in Indonesia, and after that we ordered pad Thai and pad see ew, I don't know what plate is a better but long story short it was one the best Thai culinary experience in Thunder Bay if you are a visitor you have to go there and enjoy this food.

I did 5 separate orders for myself and co-workers. We were all very pleased with the food. Everything was fresh and had the perfect amount of spice. The restaraunt stayed open passed close to accommodate our take out orders.

One of the good ones here.. small but food was good ..service we had from the girl who attended us was amazing . Very polite and professional .. must try and you will definitely like it too.
