Caribou Restaurant + Wine Bar is a cozy Italian restaurant established in November 1999. The owners of this restaurant are Bob Stewart and Tom Pazianos. They specialize more in contemporary cuisine of exceptional quality. Chef Craig Vieira prepares classic recipes featuring certified Angus sirloin, cedar plank salmon, black and blue ahi tuna, entrees and wood-fired pizza. It also serves a wide range of vintage wines and over 30 wines by the glass. The atmosphere is relaxed and the dining experience at Caribou is unique, warm and interesting. The food, service and atmosphere was just so great. Everything we had was so delicious! We understand why it's always packed in Caribou. I would advice that you make a reservation before you go! I was able to try all the meals because so I got a taste of everything each from my friends' plates and vice versa. It was all so delicious. The cocktails and mocktails were also well mixed! We will be back! The service was exquisite! Our waitress was great.
A truly fantastic restaurant with a wonderful menu. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are very well trained and exceptionally professy. The food was unbelievable. It was a pleasure to dine there.
The whole meal was wonderful, but the blackened pork chop is easily the best pork chop I’ve ever had. I could eat it again and again.

The restaurant offers handmade pasta, pizza, deli and many vegetarian dishes in a casual atmosphere. The delicious menu is prepared from simple, fresh and local ingredients. They strive to make each dish as tasty as possible. Nook is the perfect place to have lunch and dinner with family and friends. Discover the extensive drinks menu. Limited reservations are available for groups of 12 or more. Accessible off-street parking is available at this restaurant. During the busy May 1 through Labor Day summer patio season, groups 15 must order in advance and eat family-style. The most recommended dishes are crostini, burrata plate and prosciutto pizza.

NOOK REVIEWS
If you’re in thunder bay go here. The atmosphere is simple chic. They have a nice patio, which unfortunately was closed because of rain. The staff are personable, very knowledgeable and helpful. Their wine list is adequate and their pizza is next level. We also had an octopus with potato appetizer, which was delicious and cooked just as described by our server. if I could give the Nook six stars I would.
We had such a wonderful server, and the food was incredible! We came here for my mothers 60th bday dinner, she had the pasta special which included mussels, and she loved it! I enjoyed the pizza I ordered for myself very much as well! Also, we were very excited to see local craft on tap! We are from Toronto so whenever we travel we always drink the local options :) Definitely come here for a nice lunch or dinner.
We were amazed by the atmosphere here. Our waitress was more than accommodating for us. Food was next level! I highly recommend the Dawson trail IPA over anything else! I highly recommend you going here for your next special meal or time out with your friends.

Giorg Cucina E Barra is one of the best Italian restaurants conveniently located in the Victoriaville Mall. This comfortable and welcoming restaurant offers typical Italian pasta, meat and seafood dishes, plus a full bar. Traditionally, they prepare the pasta at home by extracting it through a bronze die. They source ingredients from local farms and vendors to prepare seasonal menu options. They prepare their own desserts. It has two pleasant private rooms available for your events. The largest room seats 20 people and the smallest room seats 14 people; WLAN facilities and projection surfaces are available for your presentation. The restaurant offers several menu options for large groups, including family-style dining, dinner on plates, and cocktail options. The desserts are created in-house by chef Neil Puzzella and his team. The Executive Chef Neil draws inspiration from classic Italian desserts and seasonal ingredients, creating delicious treats like cannoli, tiramisu and chocolate pudding.

I can't tell you enough how great this restaurant is. You're welcomed by staff who want to take your coat in this cozy, romantic atmosphere. You are seated with the wide profile wine menu with many by the glass, half litre, bottle selections. The staff are well trained in the varietals and can guide you through your preferences. The food menu is not too big/small. It also doesn't veer far from traditional Italian. The server kept his eye on us the entire time without being in our face. The attention to details and service from this server was unprecedented in Thunder Bay. Each menu item nailed the style with some elevation. I highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or special occasion.
Our dinner experience was fantastic. The food was excellent and the service was absolutely exemplary. It was hands down the best service I have ever experienced. Our server and the other restaurant staff were attentive, made great recommendations, and were lovely to chat with. We had an appetizer, salad, pasta entrees, and lemon cake and each was more delicious than the last.
Fabulous experience. The service is second-to-none and the menu is wonderful. Food was very very good.
