Kumon has been wonderful and I would recommend this program (and location) for everyone. My daughter started the reading and writing program in Kindergarten and is doing amazing in grade 1. Kumon not only teaches them to read and write, it gives children the invaluable lesson that they can work through hard things and overcome them. My daughter has really benefited from learning that mistakes are all part of learning and that practice makes progress. Slavka is great! Extremely helpful and invested in your child’s success.

My children, ages 15, 13, and 8, have been part of the Kumon community for 6 years now. We love the program. The years we have invested at Kumon have made all the difference in my kids academic journey. They are all proud to be performing well above their grade levels in school. Slavka is such a wonderful instructor. She is dedicated to the program and to ensuring that her students achieve success. We are proud to be long time members of the Kumon family!

Both my nine and seven year old have been in the math program since kindergarten. They are both far above grade level now and mastering math in school. Not to mention their confidence level has increased dramatically. I love how the program really focuses on a thorough knowledge of the basics and then has them build their skills and independence from there. If I had to go back and make the decision to sign them up again, I would in a heartbeat.

My son started a math lesson with Mrs. Sonia. I am impressed with how well Mrs. Sonia teaches. She dedicates every minute to the child, explaining and being present throughout the learning process. I can confidently say that Mrs. Sonia is the best teacher I have ever had !!!!! She is full of passion for teaching children how to understand a difficult subject. My son makes amazing progress every time, something I wish for every child and parent. The tuition fee is also very favorable compared to other places. If someone is looking for a tutor, I recommend this place.

Very Good Teaching, Puts lots of effort into teaching kids what they need to learn in the future. If you are looking for a tutor in Calgary I recommend choosing Mrs.Sonia because of her kindness and dedication into all the things she teaches children ranging from Science to math to Chemistry. Within 5-6 months of her tutoring i have learned a-lot and her ahead in most of my classes now Thanks To Mrs.Sonia.
