3 Best Vietnamese Restaurants in Peterborough, ON

My father and I had the pleasure of eating at Hanoi house for the first time. Now we know what we have been missing out on even though we’ve been in Peterborough for a long time! We both highly recommend this restaurant for every reason! The tasty, beautifully presented food and beverages, the friendly staff and management, the atmosphere and cleanliness of the entire restaurant, including the washrooms. Everything from the moment we walked in the door until we left was absolutely perfect! If I could give more than a 5-star rating, I certainly would! We will be back and we’ll spread the great news.

The shrimp fresh rolls were the best I’ve ever had! Fresh, lots of mint and plenty of carrot made them so sweet! We had the garlic noodles with chicken ( I added veggies - mushrooms and bok choy) and the house broken rice meal and both were great! We ordered the Vietnamese fried rice as take out for lunch tomorrow! Go to Hanoi House in Peterborough, you won’t regret it.

Airy, open dining area, with lots of space between tables). Food made fresh to order... We shared a banh mi and the pork belly fries... Delicious! We also ordered a Vietnamese coffee... Slightly watered down, but we drank it anyway. Looking forward to trying the bubble teas on our next visit. Would definitely go back.

I visited PTBO for the first time and tried to find a spot for Asian food. This place came up and I decided to give it a try and immediately amazed by how authentic the taste was. Also the music played is chilling and reminded me of a good time in Vietnam. Good service too. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are craving for good Vietnamese food.

We tried the broken rice, smoky noodles, and grilled chicken fresh rolls, and every dish was excellent. The grilled meats had a rich, smoky aroma and flavor that really stood out. Even the shredded pork skin was delicious—light, flavorful, and free of the strong odor that is often present at other restaurants. The fish sauce was a little salty for my taste, so I would recommend using it sparingly, but it paired well with the dishes overall. The food tasted authentic, and the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Customer service was exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Vietnamese food.

Loved this place! Everything that we ordered was delicious. Wonton soup was so tasty, I have been looking for a place with this authenticity. I ordered the seafood hot and lemongrass noodles with an added egg, and it was delicious, but I couldn't finish it because it was huge. Don't forget to mention they have a 10 percent discount for students. The service was so friendly and attentive. I always passed by this place and wondered if it was worth it, but today I discovered IT IS definitely worth it to try! You won't regret. I'll definitely go back to try more food from the menu. They even have where you pay at the front really cute cartoon food tote bags. Definitely not another restaurant in Peterborough like this one.
