CHESS PIECE PÂTISSERIE & CAFE REVIEWS

All of the staff are accomodating. They make the atmosphere so comfortable. The front staff was truly amazing, and their barista is well experienced. The desserts and the drinks were exemplary and the nice ambiance too.

I worked in several different luxury restaurants and hotels for years, and I have yet to find a lemon tart that can be considered tasty. But the lemon tart in this place really blows my mind, it's very fragrant，very mildly sour and just a perfect amount of sweetness. With a crunch tart shell, it is my top 1 lemon tart.

First time I try Italian guava soda, and it's completely worthy. Staff is short early, so you need to be patient. However they do their best with a nice smily face.

Came here for breakfast with my girlfriend and her mom but could definitely come for lunch and dessert as well. They have a very large assortment of ice cream flavors, all which look delicious. As far as breakfast goes I personally got the Texas Ranger breakfast sandwich and it's honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The beef brisket was tender and flavorful, the chipotle aioli was delicious, and the egg was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this place for a nice sit down breakfast spot.

Got a custom cake ordered for my birthday and had it delivered to my place of work. The cake was absolutely delicious and people keep asking me where I got it from too! Holly the catering manager, is supper friendly and so easy to work with, the price was extremely reasonable too! Duncan, the delivery driver, was very thoughtful regarding bringing it into my place of work as wel as making sure nothing dropped or spilled! Superb customer service all around and I will be recommending this to my friends and coworkers to order from here.

I recently visited Happy Baker and had a wonderful experience. The bakery has a charming atmosphere and offers a wide variety of fresh products. I particularly enjoyed their ice cream, especially their baby-sized cone which was more than enough for me. In the attached photo, you can see the delightful baby-sized ice cream I had, costing $7.76 including tax. My friend ordered a coffee with a cherry tart, priced at $8.86 including tax, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious. I loved that the coffee could be customized by ourselves with sugar, milk, and cream. One of the best things about Happy Baker is that it remains open until 8 PM even on Sundays, making it a perfect spot for Sunday night fun.

I imagine this is where you go when you die because this place is heaven. I go here for all of my bread, bakery, and guilty needs. Everything is wonderfully fresh, they have a great variety of items, and everyone is very friendly and helpful.

The food here is incredible. We ordered a platter of bars for a baby shower and it was a lot more than expected! It was a huge hit, too. We also tried some rolls and purchased a loaf of vegan cinnamon bread for my sister to enjoy. I would definitely recommend Mike's for any bakery related purchases in Fredericton.

Absolutely love this place, have been buying here for years. Cheese bread and graham pie are my favourite.
