Nice bakery on Main Street Sault Saint Marie downtown. Simple and cozy decor. As the name says it, they specialize in butter tarts. They also serve other baked goods, like individual sized quiche, which are very good. The homemade pies are fresh and outstanding. They serve coffee and other drinks. There are tables inside the establishment to seat and enjoy your treats. Prices are good. It is a family business, where you find the husband and wife working together with their children helping. Nicest people!!!.

Love it! Amazing and delicious tarts and treats, the coffee and espresso are done perfectly! Go get yourself some of these tarts with whatever coffee drink you enjoy, totally won't regret it! They're still open for take out so go check em out.

Service is always welcoming, friendly and efficient. Coffee is always carefully crafted, butter tarts consistently have goey centres, delicious flaky pastry… I would say up there in the top 5 in ON…. and I’ve sampled a few.

Great selection of fresh baked goods, as well as excellent sandwiches to go. I am rarely in The Soo, but make a point of stopping in every time I’m in town or passing through. I don’t know of a better apple fritter anywhere. Delicious and gigantic.

Everything is delicious. Donuts and fritters are to die for. Bread is wonderful.

Excellent butter tarts with raisins,Awesome oh ya and great bread too.

This is an amazing coffee house with a comfortable communal and humanitarian atmosphere, they have a wide variety of baked goods and a delightful home brew! I found the prices to be very fair, The staff was very kind and welcoming and they had an adorable knitting corner full of supplies and gorgeous handcrafted items :) I highly recommend Home bake house and cafe to everyone who can go.

Absolutely love this place the owner is also very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free, and vegetarian! I was able to safely have a treat and a delicious latte.

Very nice food, great bakery and cafe. We loved it. The atmosphere is very cosy. A great place to be.
