All their beef is sourced locally from Penokean Hill farms, and all pork comes locally from Valleyfield Farm. You can try their family-style menu, which includes hickory-smoked pot roast, hickory-smoked brisket, herb butter-basted roast chicken, and applewood smoked pulled pork. The menu has some updated steakhouse classics and some exotic imported meats. Embers Grill & Smokehouse is a great place to grab an excellent and reasonably priced lunch or a higher-end dinner. Came in as a weary traveller looking to relax and unwind with a lighter meal. I enjoyed a Cobb salad and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, the waitress was very polite and took great care of me. Would definitely visit this restaurant again and recommend to others. The location and atmosphere is great too.

The server was so nice. The portions were huge and drinks were great. Mushroom risotto was a bit off but the maple walnut Brie was unbelievable along with the Cesar salad. Soo good.

Ate here on a Saturday night. The food was great, loved the drinks and the portions were huge. We recommend the Mill Steakhouse, was a great experience. And the location in the canal district of the Sault is one of our favourite areas.

CHUCK’S ROADHOUSE BAR AND GRILL REVIEWS

When you eat at Chuck’s you know you’re getting the best in service, food, and atmosphere. My family decided to eat there a few weeks back and we now started going weekly because it was such a wonderful experience and great way to break the week up, have a drink and a great meal served with a smile. We usually have the steak and lobster which is our favourite. We look forward to our dinner nights at Chucks.

We love going to eat here. The prices are reasonable, the food is always good. The few times there was an error or quality issue, they fixed it quickly. The servers are friendly. What more could you want? We went last night and our server was so kind and attentive. We joked how impressed we were that she took our orders off memory and got it all right. I wish I remembered her name to give her credit. My only disappointment is that they discontinued offering the carrot cake. Why???? It was so good. Bring it back please.

A great place to eat when visiting Sault Ste Marie. Wife and I each had T-bone steak supper and it was grilled the way we like. Our waitress was very pleasant and frequently checked our table. The atmosphere is great, all open concept airy. Highly recommended.

My husband and I recently stopped by Embers On The Ridge during our road trip from NYC and it was one of the best decisions we made! The steaks were absolutely phenomenal - cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. Every bite was a delight, and we couldn't stop raving about how good and tasty they were. The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal on the road. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. If you're on a road trip and looking for a memorable dining experience, we highly recommend Embers On The Ridge.

Visited this restaurant with colleagues in spring of 2024. Ambiance, service, and food are all top notch. Highly recommended.

Embers is the best place in Sault Ste Marie to go for lunch, in my opinion. The prices are very fair and the food is great. They also have a great patio overlooking the golf course to sit on a nice day. The staff are also very friendly. Worth the short drive out of town.
