ITALIAN BAKERY'S MERCATO REVIEWS

Plenty of parking with lots of other shops to visit. They have lots to choose from whether you're looking for Italian grocery items or stopping in for coffee and dessert. If you stop in for coffee and a snack, there is much tempting baking to choose from and beverages. I changed my mind a few times trying to decide what to order. The donuts are the best I've ever had in my opinion and my mocha was delicious to. We walked through the grocery isles after and prices are reasonable, all desserts are like gourmet. I will definitely stop in again (its got me considering moving to St Albert!).

What a fantastic place. They have an aisle full of different olive oils , meats , and cookies We went to get some baked goods , Nutella donuts , Nutella puff pastries, and triple chocolate conolli. We also got the focaccia with peppers. Reasonably priced and extremely helpful staff. Will definitely be back.

Ordered the red velvet cake for my daughter’s birthday. It was moist, dense, delicious! And very reasonably priced as well. I will definitely be ordering more cakes in the future. You should to! A++++++++

GRANDIN BAKERY REVIEWS

I can't believe I went this long without trying Grandin... Now it's all I can think about. Their doughnuts are out of this world, the best doughnuts I've ever had. The cinnamon twist is my favorite so far. Also tried the sausage rolls and I'll be getting them again. They have an amazing selection of bread and really anything you would want from a bakery. The staff is absolutely amazing and we even got a free loaf of bread since it was our first visit. How lovely. Will be back soon. Worth the drive from the city.

Ok so, their donuts are fantastic! I had the privilege to enter their establishment to see a full donut counter “ a rarity ” and whiteness these delicious delights in their full glory, so many wonderful combinations. My wife was ecstatic when we revealed her a Neapolitan cake topped with a couple of Grandin’s artisan cookies for mother’s day. Thank you for helping make her mother’s day that much more sweet!

I love this bakery. I love that they are a nut free facility as my daughter has several friends with peanut allergies and at her birthdays I don’t have to worry about contamination. Everything I have had is delicious. My fave items are the cheese buns and the cinnamon twists. Lovely people work here.

COBS BREAD BAKERY ST ALBERT REVIEWS

Very disappointed, ordered sourdough buns that were rock hard, incredibly difficult to chew. I was in a rush home to use them for my steak sandwiches, which is when I noticed how bad they were. I called Gateway Village think yah no problem they’ll understand, no, I got scoffed at being told that’s what sourdough is, no, no it’s not how rude I’ve made sourdough my whole life it’s never been anything like that. Terrible experience! Terrible service, just rude.

Stopped in from a quick cinnamon bun to hold me over on the ride home. Ended up grabbing some bread and some other tasty treats for the family. Great service from the young front counter staff. Definitely will be returning.

LOVE COBS but as of late the triple chocolate have been quite inconsistent not sure if it's just me expecting the best but I don't feel like theres enough chocolate. 1 batch had no white things. Next batch tasted like chocolate bread almost no other chocolate inside.
