TONGILEO KOREAN RESTAURANT REVIEWS

If you’re looking for authentic Korean soup and fresh ingredients, this is the place. I’ve been here 3 times so far and it just gets better. Authentic handmade mandu (steamed dumplings) and fall off the bone pork back bone soup with a deep flavourful broth- this soup is what Tongileo is known for so I highly recommend it - you’ll be hooked! The side dishes are fantastic as well…very fresh. Overall 5 stars and highly recommended.

My husband and I love our time there, and it was our first time there. We got want we were craving for and were satisfied. We'll be going back soon.

Best Korean restaurant in the lower mainland!! Very authentic. Love their soondaeguk.

Travelled from New Brunswick with my kids. While visiting it is our favourite place to eat. Good wholesome health food. Great friendly people. A must for those who see out great food. Kid-friendliness: My girls 7 and 10 love making there bowls.

Love this family run place. Delightful people, delicious food, great prices. You load up a bowl with what you want, choose your sauces and they cook it for you fresh. Get a huge stein of beer while you're at it for $7. Huge portions and 10% off vegetarian on Wednesdays.

Was our first time at the Mongolian Grill, the staff were super friendly and helpful guiding us through the process of getting our bowls together.

My first time for Korean food and I loved it. I went with meat-eating, spicy-loving friends and I’m a vegetarian who prefers a lower level of spice. There was something for everyone. The waiter and manager were so great. They explained everything (we are not Korean) and double checked on our one person with a food allergy. I ordered the bibimbap without meat and it was great. As a group we ordered the family combo which also had lots of delicious non-meat options so didn’t really have to order something different. The corn/cheese dish was amazing. We also had tteokbokki (chewy rice cakes), tempura and cold noodles in icy broth. All good. All the ingredients were top-notch. Service was excellent. Very clean premises including the restroom. I will definitely go back.

Very nice services, side dishes are so fresh and refill quality are more than enough! Love they have the shredded cabbage salads bowl for refills too! Jumbo beef galbi bbq is so tasty and their associates are helping us to bbq all the way for us ready to eat which is very nice.. 5 stars for everything!

Everything about this place is fantastic. Main dish / bbq is top quality and even side dishes are so tasteful. This place is 10/10 - would absolutely come back and recommend to anyone who loves great food at reasonable price.
