I got the strawberries and cream cup cake. The pink cake was moist and didn’t have that fake inauthentic flavouring. Fruit was fresh. Cream on top had just the right amount of sweetness. Just the experience that I was looking for. The staff were friendly and recognized many clients as they walked through the door. Came in for a quick sit down at a cafe and left smiling.

I’ve had cakes/cupcakes from Wishes several times, so I knew I’d be asking them to do my daughter’s birthday cake. I ended up adding on some cupcakes as well. From the very first email I could tell Adriana was going to be able to take my vision and create the perfect cake. Fast forward to the day before the event - I picked my order up and was amazed with the warm greeting and atmosphere at the bake shop. Upon arriving home I made a terrible mistake and dropped a dozen of my cupcakes face down on the floor, they were absolutely destroyed. I cried and cried knowing how busy Adriana is, but figured I’d reach out and see if anything could be done. Not only did Adriana respond to my email SO quickly but she was able to make a new batch for me on such short notice. Seriously the best customer service. THIS is why we should all be supporting local. Of course everyone at my event was in awe of the beautiful baked goods, but also the taste. I cannot recommend Wishes enough! Thank you SO much for all your help. I will never go anywhere else now.

What a wonderful place to treat yourself and a friend. The baked goods rival the Duchess for presentation and quality. Delicious coffee served in elegant mugs. Space is super clean, small and intimate. Apparently there are cinnamon buns on the weekend. Adriana, the owner, is a joy. Many people came in to place or pick up special orders while I was there. They were treated with warm, gracious service. A real unique treasure amidst the box stores in the suburbs.

Got a cake made for a bachelorette party if you know what I mean. The design was exactly what I asked for and it was the highlight of the party. AND it was DELICIOUS! I was not expecting it to taste great but I was blown away. AND it was gluten free. Thank you so much. 10/10 would recommend.

I ordered a custom cake for my dad’s 80th birthday and it was absolutely perfect. In the words of both my parents, it was “the best tasting cake they’d ever had!” Thank you, Teresa. The cake was definitely a hit.

Teresa was wonderful to work with for our wedding cake. The flavour was amazing and the decoration was perfect. We had a last minute change and she came through for us so smoothly.
