Mike was incredibly generous with his time in educating me on some DIY maintenance, and also in setting me up for success. It is extremely difficult to find a reliable and trustworthy mechanic in this town, but after this experience I absolutely refuse to see anyone else. If you’re looking for a straight-shooter, who will be honest and direct with you, and takes your situation and unique needs into consideration, I cannot recommend anyone other than Mike at Budget Brake & Muffler. I had been putting off some maintenance and potential work needed, but now I feel hopeful that I will be able to get this work done without being overcharged or taken advantage of.

Mike is amazing! A friend recommended him for some repairs back in January 2021 (brakes, shocks, battery, snow tires) on my car and I’m so glad I used his services. Very reliable, flexible and trustworthy (and the cute pupper while waiting for the repair is fun too!) You will receive excellent and quality service here! He was even willing to speak with my dad and brother (who usually fix the repairs on my car) about the fixes needed—which is above and beyond service to a young female solo traveler.

Had an amazing experience with Mike at Budget, really honest and explained everything very well. Work was below estimated cost and was able to get the work done to my exhaust in under 2 hours, couldnt recommend this shop more.

Not only were they welcoming but also took the time to explain to me what specifically was wrong with my suspension system and showed me what exactly I needed.
