Sugar Mountain Catering catered my wedding and they were professional and receptive from start to finish. They first came to do a tasting of the different menu items which was amazing. We had many different food allergies and dietary requirements for the wedding - each one was addressed and taken seriously. On the day of, the food was absolutely spectacular. Genevieve, our waitress, was awesome and attentive. The service staff really went above and beyond to make sure all attendees needs were met and cleaned the kitchen and food areas spotlessly at the end. Everyone raved about the delicious food during the event and even today, over a month after the wedding, I get comments on how amazing the food and service was. The best part is that I loved supporting a locally owned family business! Thank you David, Katie, and the whole team at Sugar Mountain Catering.

I am a wedding photographer so I am pretty lucky to try lot's of different caterers throughout wedding season. Sugar Mountain Catering was a vendor I worked with this past summer and I can confidently say it was the best dinner I've ever had a wedding. I loved how unique and diverse their menu was. The flavours and concepts behind their dishes made such a lasting impression. I hope to work with them again in the future and they are the first on my caterer recommendation list.

Had a very lovey time dining here with my daughter and sister. My daughter being 4 years old usually gets restless and bored when we eat out after she’s done eating but not with the toys here or the friendly regular customers that come in here. It was our first time here but it really felt so comfortable and as if I was at a friends house hanging out in their kitchen. Not to mention the food!! So yummy and home cook feel. You won’t be disappointed. I got their chicken pesto sandwich with turkey and Dahl soup. Their walnut bread was soft, crispy and rich. So delicious! I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Would give a thousand stars if I could! You cannot get anything more homemade than this, with the kitchen literally being right there and you being able to watch your meal being cooked with love (plus a fresh batch of cookies coming out of the oven). So delicious! What a great vibe, and the chocolate cake is DIVINE.

Kaminis Corner Cafe is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is cozy and homey — it feels like you’re stepping into someone’s kitchen. The coffee was fantastic, and the woman running the place was warm, kind, and made the experience even better. Her homemade toast is a must-try. Highly recommend this place.

Emerald Catering & Culinary Club – The Best Authentic Sri Lankan Plain and Egg Hoppers in Town! We were looking for a great place to try hoppers and came across this spot based on a recommendation. I can confidently say it’s the best I’ve had in Vancouver areas! The hoppers are incredibly crispy, and the taste is simply mouth-watering. Make sure to reserve in advance. they serve freshly made hoppers. The portions are generous, and the chicken dish is particularly outstanding. They also offer a variety of rolls and patties, all of which are delicious. The prices are very reasonable, making it a fantastic value for the quality. Highly recommend this place!

We had the hoppers set recently. Each set comes with 4 hoppers, one of which has a sunny side egg in it. Also comes with chicken curry and potato curry. Oh my! Beyond delicious!

Delicious Sri Lankan food. A lovely variety of choices available. Easy to say they maintain high standards. Keep it up Emerald Culinary Club.
