HONG KONG HOUSE REVIEWS

My sister and I went last week, and given the whole COVID situation, we weren't sure what to expect. We were impressed with how the restaurant handled everything. The food was delicious (as always), and it was great to enjoy a buffet again.

Smorgasbord is the best, lots of choices. Friendly staff. Nothing to dislike about this place. Come with your appetite, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a wonderful evening here enjoying the Mother’s Day buffet. The food was fresh and hot with plenty of choices to fill your plate. The restaurant was full, but the girls working made sure you had everything you needed.

Great place to go for a lunch! We had Dim Sum plus more. The service was great, friendly people. Food was fresh hot and fast! Thanks again! Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie and gluten-free options. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly place Parking: Parking spot was available right away.

Went in to try the buffet. Server was excellent and accommodating. Food was varied and all fresh and delicious. Was able to relax and enjoy the food at my own pace. Will return if I have the desire for Chinese food again.

Super friendly folks. Great food. Mostly “western” Chinese food at buffet, with some dimsum included. A/C works well. Pretty clean. 100% would recommend.

I ordered pick up; the green bean and garlic, black bean sauce with chicken had a minute flavour of black bean, no garlic, and the black beans tasted like they were boiled in water. The house chow mein all the noodles were chopped up into inch size portions as opposed to letting you swirl and eat normal chow mein that I didn’t like. It wasn’t bad. The sauce in the texture of the noodles was good. . I don’t care for zucchini in my chow mein. I kind of expected bok choy but there was none. . The squid pieces were cooked rockhard. I couldn’t even cut it or chew it, the prawns which are not prawns, even though they say it is or shrimps and they also were overcooked.. the chicken pieces in it were undercooked and with a lot of fat attached to it. The sweet-and-sour chicken wasn’t bad though it was slightly overcooked and the batter was tough. It’s like the pre-cook them, and then put them back in, but they were tough not the chicken, the batter and slightly overcooked.. They also said when I called them that if you bring cash, you get 10% on pick ups, they did not say only phone in your order so I did it online and they didn’t honour it.. I would give this restaurant a 2.5 star And I’m definitely not going back. - Suzy Reply

Our first time, and we will be back. Limited but fresh and delicious dim sum items. Had the house special egg foo young and chow mein, both were wonderful Would love to go back and try a couple more "traditional" dishes.

This place was amazing! It had all of the classic dishes we were after and they were all cooked to perfection. Staff were incredibly nice and attentive.

Ordered food for a big party and it was all excellent! Definitely a must try Chinese food spot.
