THE BOLD KNIGHT RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Had the Bold Night burger with a lobster poutine. Nice big burger, don't let the picture fool you. Once you pick this up and tear into it you realize this is bigger than average. The lobster poutine was fantastic, couldn't stop eating it. Finished it first in fact. The martini flight was good too. Will definitely repeat.

Well that was a pleasant surprise. Table was watered upon first seating and the meal was delicious. First time and not the last. Love the retro feel. Keep it. Don't bother ever renovating because the food is awesome. Service was amazing too. Been in Nanaimo for 17 years now, and just couldn't get past the look of the location. Never judge a book by its cover, I have relearned. Thank you for an awesome night, right through to the end with the lemon cheesecake. Absolutely pigged out.

My husband and I went to the Bold Knight for our anniversary last week, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was exceptional. My husband had the steak Oscar and it was cooked and presented exactly the way he likes. I had the lobster dinner and it was magnificent. SO GOOD!!! And the service was lovely. So very friendly and accommodating. And we will most definitely be back. A great experience that we'd highly recommend.

THE VIEW OCEANSIDE GRILL REVIEWS

We celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary this evening at The View. From my first contact with them when I called to make the reservation right through the meal the service was fantastic. Our waitress, Melissa, was very friendly and accommodating to a dietary need of mine finding out about the ingredients used. The presentation of the food was elegant and delicious. The warm chocolate brownie and Nanaimo Bar tort were a great finish to such a lovely dinner.

Very nice reataurant atmosphere with nice views of the waterfront harbor. Food and service was excellent, despite service being on the slower side (this is a more formal restaurant after all). Overall, great for celebrating special occassions and events.

The View offers a very special dining experience. It's our go to place for birthdays and other special occasions. The staff are very professional, friendly, and eager to please everyone's dietary needs. The atmosphere is beautiful. The views from certain tables are beautiful. Meals are delicious. Highly recommend this place.

CACTUS CLUB CAFE REVIEWS

Really busy, lively place. The food was really tasty and the atmosphere was nice, I really like the open kitchen idea, and the bar being so central . The ahi tuna poke bowl is really amazing. The flavours are so fresh and the variety of textures is perfect. The coconut curry bowl was also really good, it had such rich flavor.

My boyfriend, friend and I came for dinner tonight. We had the best experience! Jess and Annika took the best care of us !! My friend is celiac and they made sure that she was comfortable and were super helpful with giving lots of alternatives and options for her. Plus they’re both really friendly and funny!

The food was tasty and nicely presented. The ambiance was warm and perfect for a casual hangout or a night out. The staff were friendly, and overall, it felt like a comfortable place to enjoy a good meal. Would definitely go again.
