Our puppy Bella recently finished her puppy obedience course with Devin and his fantastic team. She always got really excited and happy when she got there as it has consistently been a very positive experience for her. Devin, Adam have been attentive and in addition with any help we needed for the regular class content, always checked in and asked if we were facing any specific/particular difficulties with Bella that week. They always had helpful, focused tips for our questions. We will most definitely be coming back for their other courses! We highly recommend them as your guides to shape you and your four-legged friends, to be the best companions for each other.

Completed dog teenage classes at Southwest Dog Training in a group class and was very impressed with the training that Devon and Adam provided. The steps were simple to follow and with small class sizes it made the experience more personal and they were able and willing to help the dogs that needed assistance. These classes really made a difference in my dogs behaviour and set him on a path that we can work on in the future. Highly recommend!

Devin and his team are the most incredible group of trainers. They have such love and patience for animals. I learnt so much from them about how to foster good habits in my puppy and avoid bad habits, all based on a relationship of trust and positivity rather than negative reinforcement. Jessica was fantastic! She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and patient with our dog. Nova had issues with reactivity toward other dogs, and Jessica provided practical strategies and support that made a real difference. Her guidance was clear, informative, and tailored to Nova's needs, which helped us see noticeable improvement. A heartfelt thank you to Jessica for being an incredible trainer to our 3-year-old goldendoodle, Ollie. From the very beginning, her patience, knowledge, and genuine care made all the difference. Before starting our sessions, walks with Ollie were a challenge. His lack of engagement made even short outings feel overwhelming. But with Jessica’s guidance, we gained the tools and confidence to turn those walks into something we now all enjoy. One of our biggest breakthroughs came earlier this month during a visit to the vet for a blood test. These visits used to be a major source of anxiety for Ollie, but thanks to the trust-building techniques Jessica taught us, he was able to stay calm and composed; he knew we were right there with him. We’re so grateful for the foundation Jessica helped us build, and we’re excited to continue learning through the amazing classes offered by Canine Training. Most of all, we’re thrilled to keep strengthening our bond with Ollie.

We did private reactivity training with our golden retriever with Jessica. Jessica was amazing from day one, she has an incredible amount of knowledge and she knows what she is doing. We took 5 sessions but after just three of them, there was a huge change in our dog’s reactivity. I recommend Jessica to anyone who is dealing with a reactive dog, she is amazing!
