The best fish and chips I have ever had ! Perfect portion size tasted amazing and they put so many tarter sauce packets and malt vinegar in the bag so I didn’t have to be without . Thank you I will order here again and again.

Friendly staff, amazing fish and chips. In house Tatar sauce is very flavourful compare to the packets. Very nice dining room beautifully designed.

We were greeted with a smile, service was amazing. Love the food. Delicious, not greasy like other places. Really clean. We’ll go back and we would highly recommend it to all our friends. Thank you Nancy you’re amazing.

HALIBUT HOUSE FISH AND CHIPS KINGSTON REVIEWS

Being from Newfoundland, I have eaten some top notch fish and I was, as usual not expecting anything but average off the Rock. I was impressed. Very big fish portions for a very reasonable price. Very crispy and light batter the way I like it. Then the staff. The gentleman who took my order was very friendly and explained the daily special. Smiles from all and attentive. Will be returning.

Best fish and chips in Kingston. Staff was more than accomadating. Was met at the door. Welcomed to the restaurant and got excellent service as well as a very sizable meal and a very tasty one at that. My first time here but definently not my last.

I'm an english woman, and I can honestly say this place is the closest fish and chippy place I've eaten at that takes me back home. Love the food and the staff are always friendly. 5 stars doesn't give it justice.

THE PILOT HOUSE OF KINGSTON REVIEWS

Went to pilot house last week quite late as not much was open and I've always wanted to try this place. The kitchen is open till 9pm, my friend and I ordered pub food and stayed and chatted for a few hours. There were typical pub fair,lots of fish options, and some salads available. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was very homey but clean and pleasant. Overall the food was good, the portions were huge.

Great pub with a regular local crowd. Server was wonderful. Fish and chips were delicious and a surprisingly excellent house salad! Recommend.

Such a cute little pub and a Kingston icon. After passing by this place many times my friend and I checked it out. You seat yourself and the staff feel like true Kingstonians. The pub gives family owned, very caring vibes. The other people in the pub were very low key and it was quiet enough to have good conversation. The food had big portions and tasted amazing. Would definitely return to this place and would recommend to anyone.
