WHITBIE'S FISH & CHIPS REVIEWS

Great British themed fish and chips shop at the edge of West Lethbridge. Food was delicious - I remember trying it for the first time in 2020/2021 and they had packaged the food in newspapers. Fries and fish were crispy, overall very tasty food. The tartar sauce was probably the best I’ve ever had, and it complemented the fish and fries perfectly.

Delicious! I tried them for the first time ever today, and I'm glad I finally did! I got the pollock, it was crispy and still hot even though I got it delivered. The homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw are so good, probably some of the best I've ever had. Prices are reasonable considering how much you get and I love how they package the to-go orders by wrapping them up to soak up excess oil. I highly recommend you give them a try if you haven't yet. I will be a return customer for sure.

Small hole in the wall fish and chip joint. Feels and smells like a fish and chippy from Scotland! Has great different fish selections, and the food is wrapped in paper to soak up the oil, and keeps the fish crispy. Chips are great, and lots of other options like steak and kidney pie, scotch pies, Iron Bru, and deep fried black pudding. My only request is to bring in deep fried Mars bars.

JOEY’S FISH SHACK REVIEWS

My hubby and I went to Joey’s for an early lunch for our 26th Wedding Anniversary AND Valentine’s Day - they happen to fall on the same day!! Joey’s is a great place to eat. The food is amazing, the prices are very reasonable for fish and the place (recently renovated) is really nice. Just not big enough! We’ve loved it every single time we’ve been there. If I happen to have leftovers, it’s a fight at home as to who gets them!! That’s a sign of great food.

Went in today and almost had to leave, as the only way I could pay was with my phone, which died as I sat down. The sweet waitress charged my phone for me and I stayed and enjoyed a great meal. I love this place. Always good.

Great staff.. Everyone is very friendly.. Especially the cooks.. Great place to be with friends or family.. And really tasty food.. Absolutely Loved it! Recommended.

The restaurant serves a mix of tasty dishes like pasta, fish and chips, breakfast, sandwiches, and fresh coffee. In the summer, you can relax on the patio and enjoy a lovely view of the park. It’s run by a small family from Lethbridge, so you know you’ll always get great food and friendly service.

If you’re in Lethbridge and craving fish and chips, this is the place!! The vibe is super chill and the people working there are really friendly. I had their fish and chips, and the cod was cooked perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, plus fresh-cut fries. The prices are way more affordable than you’d expect for the quality you get. I’ll be coming back to for sure!!

Portion sizes are generous, fish is always crispy and delicious. The homemade coleslaw and tartar sauce are also very good. The fries tend to be a little soft and greasy but that is the only, very minor "complaint" I have. Overall I've been very pleased with my orders and will continue to order from here and recommend it to others!
