I have had on-going female health-related issues for the last 12 years, really since I had an emergency c section with my daughter, in 2012. They have gotten progressively worse over the years, and have really impacted my day to day life in a big way since 2021. I have visited multiple hospital emergency rooms—only to have my symptoms be either misdiagnosed, or dismissed and told they have no idea what’s wrong, or told that the issues are “normal” and that Id just have to suck it up and live with them. I have kept pushing for answers and my family doctor referred me to Jennifer Schnarr. I read all of the like 113 review online and I was very excited to have the opportunity to be a patient of hers. I just went for my first in-person appointment this week and I can honestly say that it was life-changing for me. I had to travel over two hours to the office, I was met with amazingly friendly and helpful staff, an absolutely beautiful and highly modern-looking and professional office and facilities. I was looked after promptly by the staff, they were kind, friendly, welcoming and eager to assist, help me with anything I needed and most importantly make me feel at ease. When Jennifer came in to meet me, I knew immediately by how she spoke to me that she is highly skilled at her craft, she took the time to listen to me incessantly blab about my health history and issues, she immediately took stock of what I had to say, asked me intelligent questions to further confirm her thoughts on action plan and potential diagnosis. She exuded intelligence, sincere and genuine care and empathy for what I had gone through/was going through and immediately took action to put in place a treatment plan and explained all of the next steps and all of the “why’s”. She did a uterine biopsy right at this appointment, planned medication treatment, as well as planned my surgery. As she’s talking I’m thinking “omg, how did I get so lucky to get this girl”. She left the room before the biopsy, so we could wait for the anti inflammatory meds to kick in prior, and while I waited for her to come back, I actually started getting emotional, out of sheer thankfulness and gratitude for this amazing doctor. After all of the upsetting care I have received from other doctors in the last 3 years, finally I had someone who listened to me, cared for me on a personal level, acknowledged and confirmed there was a problem…and was going to (as she said)…give me my life back. I’m a business owner, too, and I know you can’t please everyone. As I said, I read all of the reviews before coming. The odd few that said they weren’t happy with the staff or care they received, well I guess you have to acknowledge their views and feelings…but I can tell you from my experience, I would recommend Jennifer and all of her staff to anyone and everyone. I’ve finally got some hope back for my future health and she’s honestly renewed my faith in the healthcare system - A J.
