My Mum's was a preplanned arrangement. She wanted cremation and a memorial to be held graveside later in the spring. I think preplanning is a kind way for people to support their loved ones left behind as the wishes of the person are easily stated to avoid unnecessary stress to the family.

The kindness, professionalism and efficiency at Everden Rust - with Kent, in particular - made this very sad and numbing experience go so smoothly. Our options were clearly laid out and we simply needed to pick what we wanted and it was done. But Kent went further and explained all of our next steps so we didn't have to stress out about what we had to do next. There seems to be so much paperwork to do when a loved one dies, but Kent walked us gently through the process while at the same time respecting the dignity of my father. I appreciated that.
