How does one thank someone for the sincere appreciation and gratitude that we have for the Ferris Funeral Home in Simcoe, ON and their family and team, in creating all the difference in the world in making our mom’s passing so memorable and less painful. My husband and I were greeted by Jim Cochrane with compassion, sincerity and a caring that goes beyond words the moment we stepped foot in the Family Funeral Home. From start to finish during this difficult process, Jim was outstanding. His honest nature came naturally, and we were made to feel comforted whether it was in the office, at home on the phone, or through emails and texts. Jim always responded with ‘an oasis of serenity’ amidst the circumstances we were facing. Being our first time having to go through this process, the guidance we were given was phenomenal. Everything went smoothly considering the state of sorrow we endeavored with our great loss. Even though this world appears to have lost their direction at times and no one seems to care anymore, I just want ALL to know that the Ferris Funeral Home in Simcoe, ON, really DOES CARE. Thank you for showing the world in every life you touch, there is still a lot of good out there. God Bless you ALL.

Jason Smith was a professional with every aspect of my father's funeral. He even added personal touches like leading the procession to the cemetery passed some of my dad's favorite places and even stopping in front of my parents' house. All in all, the experience with Jason Smith was excellent. Thank you so much.

Jason helped with my father's funeral and at every step was the ultimate professional, while being truly compassionate and concerned. During one of the most difficult times, he did everything to help and made sure I understood the full process and my family are so thankful for his assistance for the final arrangements. Highly recommend this business.

Jason and his staff are very professional, caring and compassionate. I have dealt with Jason for both my mother and father's arrangements. He goes out of his way to help as much as possible, and reduce the stress that is involved in this situation. He has also provided incredibly compassionate assistance to a family member who lost an infant child. Jason is down to earth and completely trustworthy. I would recommend Jason to anyone needing these services.
