“Acton Golf Club's 4,724-yard par 68 design offers a great challenge to golfers. The course winds through mature oak, birch, maple, and pine tree groves, and was expanded to an 18-hole course in 1998. Their fairways are exceptionally narrow and bordered by dense trees, demanding constant vigilance to avoid hazards as water comes into play on nearly every hole. The true test intensifies on the expansive greens of Acton Golf Club, each meticulously guarded by water features and sandy bunkers. At less than 375 yards, the 13th hole is a deceptively difficult par 5 that presents a great risk-reward challenge. A creek crosses the fairway about 80 yards in front of the green on this dogleg left, offering long hitters an opportunity for a birdie.”

Played Hornby earlier this week and was truly happy with my experience. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the course was in fantastic shape. Best I’ve seen it in years. Will definitely be back. Thanks again for a great day.

Ladies night was amazing at Hornby Glen! The food was awesome, the course is in great shape and they even put flowers on the tee boxes! So great. I LOVE this course.

Nice course. Fairways are open and the rough is manageable for beginner to novice players. Greens were in nice shape.

ACTON GOLF CLUB REVIEWS

Best bang for the buck for a par 68 course! It’s my 3rd year being an Acton member and will keep on going. It’s definitely worth it. Our group grew throughout the years playing this course and held many mini tournaments. Staff are friendly and attentive especially Joanne, Doug, Barry and all the marshals. We played here so much that Acton GC became our second home.

As a beginner golfer this course is perfect. Staff are great price is right and overall great experience.
