John Elliott Theatre serves as a regular venue for several local community theatre groups and hosts a variety of touring theatre companies, seminars, presentations, and workshops. John Elliott Theatre offers diverse films, pre-release popular films for youth, documentaries, and more. The theatre features a wide proscenium, a sizable stage, an orchestra pit, and 260 seats. John Elliott Theatre's capacity was expanded after the library moved into a new wing in 1973. Special group rates may be available depending on the production. The John Elliott Theatre is also wheelchair accessible.
