Terra Cotta Conservation Area is the most beautiful hiking destination in Halton Hills, with many useful facilities. It is a wooded country park with events and visitor centers. It is well-known for its winter sports, birdwatching and picnics. Its 508 acres of rugged terrain on the Niagara Escarpment offers nature trails, six reservable picnic areas, and 3-day general picnic areas. It is tranquil and close to nature that gives an incredible feeling. Their staff are friendly and followed procedures and the washrooms were extremely clean. It is an excellent conservation area for walking, with varieties of trails, ponds and picnic areas. Most of the trails make a loop, so you can make the walk as long as you want.

Limehouse Conservation Area is a 190-acre forested area with restored lime kilns, fissures, information boards, and hiking trails. Several old monuments can be seen in the area which is built during the ancient days. The trails cover approximately a total distance of 4.5 kilometres. There are about three total trails that can be walked for about 3 hours. There are many cave-like crevices that you can explore. Most of the trail is in the shadow of trees, giving a good respite from hot days. Limekiln has a historical background. Limehouse Conservation Area has ample parking spaces. It is located in Limehouse, ON.
