3 Best Hair Salons in Kitchener, ON

My first visit to the salon I have to admit I was a little nervous. I was not from Kitchener and had not heard of the salon. I knew I wanted to make a real change to my hair style. It was very dry and had become over processed. After my consultation with Vince I knew I was in the right hands. He shared his ideas with me regarding what he thought we should do and the options open to me. Together we decided what changes we would make that day and we set a plan of what we would strive to do over the upcoming months. Vince honestly told me I would have to be patient, it would take some time before all of the damage to my hair could be corrected but we would get there. I have to tell you I am so glad I followed Vince's advice. He was right with his recommendations, he and the team have totally transformed my hair. The colour has been changed, the style is totally updated and my hair is now healthy and growing. I love my new look. Vince and the Teknik team are experts in what they do with many years of experience. When you go, talk to them about what you want but also listen to their recommendations. They are the ones with years of training in this business. Thank you Teknik team for taking such great care of me !!

I have been a Teknik customer for over ten years. It is by far the best salon I have ever had a chance to visit. I have never had a bad experience, their customer service is amazing and the stylists are talented, professional and make you feel right at home. Naturally, when my son wanted to colour his hair purple, they were the first place I thought of. Dom was great in explaining the potential complications with the home based colour that was already in his hair as well as what to expect from the colour process. My son, Alex, sat like a champ through two rounds of bleach and the purple turned out phenomenal. Four weeks in and the colour still looks great. Perhaps the only problem I have is that now Alex wants a different colour lol.

I visited Teknik yesterday for the first time. I wanted my long hair cut into a stacked bob and I wanted highlights. I showed Domenic some photos I had on my phone that weren't that great and he went out of his way to find better ones that showed the cut in more detail. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted in a friendly and warm atmosphere. The colourist who did my highlights was so warm and friendly and they turned out to be the best highlights I've ever had. Natural looking, not overly obvious. Domenic is awesome! From his technical skills to his warm and friendly personality. This has to be the best cut I've ever had and it turned out better than I had hoped for. My hair has developed a natural wave in the last year and the cut emphasizes the wave and makes it look even more awesome. This is definitely my new place and Domenic is my hair guru! Thanks to all the staff there!
