It is a great great place to visit, especially with kids. I have been there numerous times with my grand daughters. From the time they were just crawling, we would spend time in the infant and toddler room. There was lots for them to explore, see and do. As they got older, still as pre-schoolers we could spend a whole afternoon exploring exhibits. They would especially enjoy all the interactive exhibits. This is one place that helps make Waterloo Region a great place to live and raise children

I took my 10 year old niece in August and she loved it. She loved exploring thru all of the homes and we got to sample some of the food they had made on the old stoves, as well as, tried our hand at fishing the old fashion way - bamboo poles, a hook and some bread dough! On a side note, we also discovered later that some of the scenes from Anne of Green Gables movies were shot in the village. My niece loved finding that out, so I think it would be of interest to other visitors.

Our first time at this quality venue, seeing a legend and member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Bonnie Raitt was very lively and enjoyable! The space is comfortable, spacious, without being too large with good acoustics. There is a bar, where wine, beer and spirits are served. An added plus was being able to bring them into the hall during the show. Service is very personable and professional, which contributes to the fine experience.
