This park is a true gem! So many trails to discover right within the city limits. Love the fact you can do a quick 30 minute loop or explore for hours if you want. Trails are marked clearly and well maintained, I often hiked and biked alone with my pup and always felt safe. Great for hiking, running and biking. Recently moved to Revelstoke, and while I am spoiled here with new trails to explore, I do miss my Kenna hikes. A must see and do if you are in Kamloops.

Schubert Drive, Kamloops, BC V2C 1V7

Hiking Trails, Walking Trails, Cyclists, Runners, Bike Ride, Benches, Outdoor Activities, River, Running, Pedestrian Trails, Jogging, Nature & Park

The trail turns north near the end and meets Tranquille Road after 5.2 km - The trail goes along a dike bearing west - There are some side trails to the beaches along the route

You can walk, run, or bike this 40 km trail system along the North and South Thompson River in multiple directions starting from the city centre. We walk the area from Riverside Park east along the South Thompson past Pioneer Park (dog friendly) and out to the Kamloops Yacht Club every time we visit the city. We have also biked the area from McArther Island Park west to the Airport and the path north from the Overlander Bridge along the North Thompson to the Dunes Golf Course.
