The trails are well-marked and maintained with regular signage, maps, benches, and garbage cans. The trails are easy to access through the beautiful natural landscape. The river is calm and a lovely spot to enjoy water activities. You can rent a kayak or a boat and visit many little islands. Visitors can get a map of the different paths and islands to explore. Bois de l'Équerre is a scenic natural environment with walking trails, picnic tables, and wildlife. An area has more than 12.95 km of hiking trails and offers free access to the site at all times, year-round. Dozens of picnic tables are available to visitors, and dogs on a leash are accepted. Bird watching is common, with 160 bird species observed in this area. Bois de l'Équerre offers lovely scenery that varies according to the season. The trails are filled with tall trees and different plants, making it a great spot to visit. The trails are well-labelled and navigate through the beautiful forest with well-shaded areas. All the trails are identified, and there is a map of all the forks. Bois de l'Équerre is a natural paradise with many tree species around the park.

2025 Update: Bois de l'Équerre has 20 raptors, 20 species of mammals and 10 species of reptiles and amphibians. It has 3.7 km of groomed trails for winter walking and 160 hectares accessible to the public.
