I would highly recommend this for families or beginner campers. Easy and well marked hiking trail to the lookout (3km loop) and you can also do a longer hike to Crawford Lake. We only had time for the short hike but will be back to do the 9km hike to Crawford Lake. Our campsite (#10) was very private and beautiful but extremely muddy. There are other sites that seemed to have better drainage. The comfort station (showers, flush toilets) was a short walk from our site and were very clean.

I have visited Hilton Falls many times for both day and night hikes. I love this place as the trails are well maintained. During spring, one will see the thousands of trilliums, white and purple, bursting out of the ground. The waterfall is small, but it s beautiful. I have also gone to this CA for night hikes with my outdoor club but we use a different access point. We hike all the way to the place where they have wood to build a fire and have a barbecue.

We did lots of biking at Kelso Conservation Area in Milton. Kelso is really amazing place for easy trails around the beach and difficult trails up the hill. Going up the hill was a great experience and view from the top was just perfect. We crossed Gateway To Heaven which gave us few min to catch our breath before biking even higher. We didn't take the easy route of steep road. We biked through the trails for real exploration. I highly recommend you to go this conservation area with your friend
