great park for a walk with the family. there are outdoor and indoor places for picnics and birthday celebrations. walking trails through the forest. a variety of birds that you can feed from your hand. there is a farm in 1886 and it is alive. you can feed rabbits, goats, pigs. and enjoy the space. nearby is an outdoor swimming pool for people, where you can enjoy clean water in the fresh air. There is a paid, large parking lot.
This campground has friendly staff and nice spots. There is an alcove of trees around a each spot with very tall grasses to help inclose your campsite. The electrical hookups are a length away and you might need an extension. The pictures are of one of the many wildflowers and a butterfly pollinating a plant at my campsite! I would recommend going here!
What a cool park! We had a lot of fun walking all the trails. The pavilions and grills were busy but there weren't that many people on the trails.
