“Restaurant Shalimar was started by Mrs. Uma Nigam with the assistance of her son, Jyoti Nigam. Over the years, Shalimar has adapted and improved its cuisine according to the refined tastes of its clientele, particularly vegetarians and vegans. The restaurant is a fine-dining Indian eatery serving Indian dishes with vegan choices in a cozy setup. Their primary goals have always been to ensure the freshness of their food and the authenticity of the original recipes. During the summer, vegetables and spices are grown in their garden organically and then end up on your table. The restaurant offers meat, lean-cut, and vegetarian food specials from various regions. The eatery also has an all-you-can-eat meal option and an outdoor seating facility.

RESTAURANT SHALIMAR REVIEWS

We had a lovely buffet dinner at Shalimar - we didn't know they require a reservation, but got lucky that there was a small table free. The food was delicious, though I would've liked to see one more meat option, and if you go hungry and ready to eat more than one plate, it's a great value. Our waitress was lovely as well, and we really appreciated the service.

Favourite place in Sherbrooke to have northern style India cuisine. The food here reminds me of some of the dishes I had while travelling in India. They have buffet style certain nights, a la carte, or take-out. There are also some items not on the menu but that you can ask for, like paneer. You can find the information on their website or just give them a call. Reservations are recommended, they book up fast and space is limited.

The place is nice, clean, and the food was great. The menu on line is incorrect for pricing. The value for money needs to be reviewed.

MASALA CAFÉ SHERBROOKE REVIEWS

Very good food, the cauliflower pakora and butter chicken are stars. Not like the ones you in Montreal but very good with rich flavors . Very good service.

The service is very heartfelt. Coming from India the ambience brings smile on our faces and brings back a lot of memories. Ordered a vada pav and totally relished it.

The food was delicious. A lot more authentic than I anticipated. I had the chicken vindaloo and mushrooms tikka masala. If you are in the mood for great Indian you will enjoy it here.
