I dined in on a business trip to St. John’s and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious (Malai Kofta, Onion Kulcha, with each dish bursting with authentic Indian flavors. The staff's hospitality, or mehmaannawazi, was exceptional, making me feel truly welcomed and taken care of. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of India served with warm hospitality.

We enjoyed a pleasant dinner at India Gate. We ordered a tandoori plate and eggplant dish. The tandoori meats were tender and flavorful. The eggplant was equally well prepared. We also liked the cozy ambiance.

12 of us spent the evening there, great service beautiful atmosphere. Particularly enjoyed the veggie samosas with the chickpea spicy sauce. Best samosas in the country.

If you want good food, you have it here. If you want to cook good food at home, tou have that too! The best part about Desi Meal is it's owner's customer service. Humble and welcoming at the same time.

I had the chicken Biryani here, and it was delicious! Not too spicy, just right. You can find Indian products and groceries here too, and the host was warm and really friendly.

Informal, friendly setting and darn tasty butter chicken and curried lamb. We ate every bite!! Owner/chef was so friendly! And fabulous spices and sauces...what a selection!.

One of our favorite restaurants in the city! The butter chicken is unbeatable and their willingness to always accommodate our lengthy list of allergies is always so appreciated! The service and food here is so amazing.

This was my first visit to India gate. I liked the vibe here, soft music, spacious and dim lights dining and good customer service they provide. Servers are very polite and friendly and make sure you enjoy your food.

Food was fabulous. Paneer Pakora in starter and Paneer Jalfrezi was heaven in taste.
