EMPRESS OF INDIA REVIEWS
A great place for Indian cuisine! Definitely come with friends as the portions are huge and definitely filling! There are lots of options to choose from. We got the vegetable samosa, royal butter chicken, Shahi kofta, rasmalai, and Gulab jamun. They were all so good and so flavourful! The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and usually not that busy I find. The staff are also very friendly!
The lamb biriyani is spicy but great flavors and good portion size. The naan and malai kofta is as good as it gets.
Best Restaurant for Indian food in whole GTA. go there and enjoy indian food with no compromise on quality and quantity. Lovely owner and staff. Don't forgot the Mango and Avocado shakes that go well with food.

KISMET RESTAURANT REVIEWS
I recently visited Kismat restaurant located in the University Plaza and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The restaurant offers authentic Bangladeshi cuisine and all their meats are halal, which is a big plus for me. I love the taste of halal meats more. Before covid I used to to eat there monthly , I have enjoyed their lamb curries and lamb biryani. The meats were tender, juicy and flavorful, and the spices were just right. They also made fresh naan, which was soft and fluffy, and some delicious beverages like mango juice, which tasted homemade.
I'm not from around here but needed food and wanted samosas. Holy moly am I ever glad i stopped here. The workers in there were some of the nicest people I have ever met and the samosas were the best i have ever had. Ordered both Veggie and Meat samosas. The size of these things is crazy and the flavor is out of this world. I highly recommend coming here!!
We have been enjoying food from this wonderful family's restaurant for 30 years. It's still the best in the region. Top quality ingredients, ample servings.perfectly prepared .Their Naan is amazing , and if you like lamb, the lamb dishes are fabulous. Biryani is delicious, butter Chicken is wonderful. We made the mistake of trying some of the other restaurants locally , but never went back to any of them. Kismet is always perfect .

MASALA BAY REVIEWS
I highly recommend this restaurant!! Before ordering off an app, I called to inquire about my food allergies. The staff were patient and eager to help me find something on their menu. I believe they made my order from scratch to accommodate me! The food was DELICIOUS (I got paneer masala and plain naan and my friend got butter chicken), the portion sizes were generous, and the spice level was perfect. This is now one of my favourite restaurants in KW.
Hands down our favourite restaurant in town. This also place has a special meaning to us as my partner and I both said I love you for the first time here and got engaged here. The food is always delicious, and we've always gotten exceptional service. Highly recommend!
My go to Indian restaurant in Waterloo. Always great food. The quality of the food and service. 2 adults with beer was ~$75. Support your local small business and eat here!
