Shafiq's Taste Of India

I took shade for some good tea while I was waiting over the passing pouring cloud of rain. That one sip of tea gave me comfort and gave a feel of going back to India and having the hot chai on the western ghats. I really wish I had ordered some food. May be some day I will. If a tea feels like warm hug am sure their food will be great.

Thank goodness this gem of a restaurant made it through the pandemic. We would certainly miss the awesome Indian food we have enjoyed here for years. Menu has not changed however portion sizes have changed. We always get the Chicken Danshsak, Vegetable Curry Palou Rice and garlic Naan. Shafiq is a wonderful host.

Shafiq's is the freshest food I've ever eaten. Unbelievable how tasty this is. Super quality at a real good price. If I'm feeling flavor and fresh this is the place.

We have been enjoying this food since Shafiq opened. We always choose one of the special combo meals and while the portions have shrunk, the price has not risen throughout these tough times. Would not think of eating at any other restaurant for Indian food. I am a competent cook, yet cannot replicate the wonderful flavours created by Shafiq - BobCob.
