3 Best Japanese Restaurants in Kitchener, ON

If I had any musical talent, I would write love songs about their ramen. It's that good! I've been here a couple of times and each time, the food was incredible. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the pork was tender and flavourful, and the broth was decadent and not watery at all. The service is fantastic too. The staff are friendly and polite, and the food comes out in a timely manner. Just wish the place was a bit bigger as it can get quite busy on weekends.

Went to this restaurant to taste some ramen. I would say this is the closes authentic ramen you can eat around Waterloo region. Take note that they only sell ramen and some sides, there are no sushi or sashimi. We ordered four ramens, two sets of fried gyoza, and some drinks and our total bill was $93 taxes included, for some it might be expensive but for me it’s reasonable.

Came here way too often haha(three times in a month And ordered delivery one time). They have amazing broth and flavour. I would say so far the best ramen place I tried in KW region and if I got a car I would visit here more often. Ohh they also got nice yuzu cheesecake so have a try of that one too.

This is a mom and pop restaurant run by the sweetest owners. I heard good things about this restaurant and finally decided to give it a try. The Tonkatasu Ramen tasted like the ones I tried in Japan. The broth is so rich, flavorful, and the smokey flavor comes through so nicely. This is way better than any of the ramen I've had at Samsotei or Kinton. My husband got the tomato Katsu and he devoured it. We felt like we were getting a home cooked meal and it truely hit the spot. Even though we live across town, this place will definitely be on our rotation.

Came with friends for lunch. Not too many seats so good to go when it's not too busy. Little family run place, the food is worth the wait. Not too many menu options but the ones on their were good. Very reasonable prices for the food you get and it's very tasty. Really rich broth, good chasu and the egg is great. Definitely recommended! No Amex, but tap to pay is available. Tea is extra but service is great at refilling your tea pot.

Love this restaurant. I have tried almost all tonkatsu and raman st this place. They all taste so good! See how many pieces they gave for the chicken katsu! I am surprised, as always haha. The chicken tastes so crispy! I also like the sauce.
