SHADBOLT CENTRE FOR THE ARTS REVIEWS

I fell in love with that place! It provides you with some good positive energy! It’s warm, cozy & embracing. It’s a favourite picnic spot to many, haven’t tried yet, but will soon. The place hosts children's dance classes, music recitals, and live theatre productions. It also has a cafe with hot food and a variety of sweet treats. A great place to take a little rest while walking around dear lake.

Warm, light-filled, performance centre with lots of seating and very comfortable vibes. We didn’t check out any of the performances but saw the beautiful space. There were some display glasses with really cool art displays of owls and puppets. Parking is available at the Burnaby Art Gallery for up to 3 hours. It is also close to deer lake and a nearby playground.

My best favourite place to picnic. Recently become more charming for the autumn colours. There's a huge beautiful meadow between the Art Center and Deer Lake where is the perfect place for human and gooses to share and enjoy the outdoors. Free parking lot in the front and always with plenty of empty slots.

FOREST LAWN MEMORIAL PARK REVIEWS

We were made to feel safe and loved like we were family to the staff at Forest Lawn Cemetery and First Memorial Funeral Home. The care, professionalism and accuracy of what we wanted for my dad was followed through exactly how we wished. He was so sick but they made him look as he did in the pictures when he had better days. That was beautiful absolutely amazing!

The Forest Lawn team took over, and handled all the details of our loved ones funeral. Monique was able to precisely grant my mothers wishes, and provided professional services all around. During this extremely difficult time, we appreciate the teams compassion and empathy, and would highly recommend their services to those in need.

Forest Lawn was wonderful to deal with for the internment of our mother. Monique had great advice and direction. It took a lot of pressure off of us during this difficult time.

MUSEUM OF ARCHAEOLOGY & ETHNOLOGY REVIEWS

Though the room is small, the place is filled with information. Many of the artefacts exposed are described in great details. It also has a slice of the soil built into a wall with the first evidence of our early ancestors coming from Asia to come across North America. I would have given 4 stars, but I am giving 5 since Mr. Rob Rondeau took time to show me personally some of the exhibition and also took time to hear and add on to my curiosity and enquiries about themes I have shown and would like to extend on in class with my grade 3 students. I had a wonderful experience!

Museum of Archeology and ethnology is on SFU campus very close to SFU transportation exchange bay. Museum is well maintained and having beautiful sculptures also it has some unique carvings and history structures. If you are on SFU campus then it’s a must visit place for you.

Some really cool stuff in a a one room college museum. Worth the visit, after all admission was free.
