We had a great time walking the trail on the island, the beavers have certainly been busy building many dams on the local streams. Many singing birds too, lovely to hear them! We were also lucky to see 2 tour boats lowered in the locks. Nice to see the Canadian Locks, as a sailor I have been through the SOO Locks many times. Beautiful area!
Enjoyed this trip, would recommend! Narrated as you travel through the locks. Neat history of the area. Had fun sitting outside on the upper deck. Approximately two hours, well worth it!
It was really cool to see the history and technology of the locks. We took a tour boat to see everything and get the info. Great way to putt around and sight-see.
