“Dr. Daryl Fourney earned his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at the University of Saskatchewan and a fellowship in neurosurgical oncology at the University of Texas M.D Anderson Cancer Center. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He specializes in the treatment of brain tumours and complex spinal disorders, including spinal tumours. Dr. Fourney has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He served as President of the Canadian Spine Society from 2007 to 2009 and chaired the Annual Meeting for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves in 2012. Dr. Fourney is also the Director of Research for the Division of Neurosurgery within the Department of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan.
