Dr. Daryl Fourney earned his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at the University of Saskatchewan and a fellowship in neurosurgical oncology at the University of Texas M.D Anderson Cancer Center. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He specializes in the treatment of brain tumours and complex spinal disorders, including spinal tumours. Dr. Fourney has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He served as President of the Canadian Spine Society from 2007 to 2009 and chaired the Annual Meeting for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves in 2012. Dr. Fourney is also the Director of Research for the Division of Neurosurgery within the Department of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan.

2025 Update: He is a Professor of Surgery in the Division of Neurosurgery, Department of Surgery, College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Fourney is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgeons.

Dr. Michael Kelly is an experienced neurosurgeon who attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated with honours in June 1999. He completed his neurosurgery residency and earned a PhD at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Kelly also completed a cerebrovascular surgery fellowship at Stanford University and a two-year combined fellowship in endovascular and cerebrovascular neurosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic. His research focuses on advanced biomedical imaging using synchrotron radiation to address challenges in neurosurgery. In November 2012, Dr. Kelly was awarded the Saskatchewan Chair in Clinical Stroke Research, supported by the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, and the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. He actively conducts both bench and clinical research while maintaining a busy clinical practice.
