“Dr. Anna Matiko completed her Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Saskatchewan in 2008. She earned her optometry degree with high honours from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2012. She interned in various places, including Bangor, Maine; Mountain Home, Tennessee; Chicago, Illinois; and Melbourne, Australia, gaining experience in primary eye care, ocular disease, contact lenses, and pediatric care. Dr. Matiko previously worked in non-dispensing optometry clinics in Saskatoon and Regina. She is now excited to be at Kennedy Eye Clinic, where she can provide a personalized patient experience from start to finish. She connects well with other parents and enjoys working with families and patients of all ages. Currently, she practices in The Eye Studio at Kennedy Eye Clinic, a locally owned and operated optometry clinic offering comprehensive eye care services. “Dr. Haylee Mumford earned her Doctor of Optometry from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico in 2022 after studying biomedical sciences at the University of Saskatchewan. During optometry school, she was active in clubs like NOSA (where she was president), VOSH, and Lions Club, participating in mission trips across Puerto Rico to provide vision care to underserved communities. Dr. Mumford aims to support English and Hispanic communities in Saskatoon and plans to continue her humanitarian work with future mission trips. She has clinical training in ocular disease, vision therapy, specialty contact lenses, low vision, pediatrics, ocular prosthetics, and primary eye care. She is interested in vision therapy, pediatric optometry, and ocular disease. Dr. Haylee Mumford is fluent in Spanish and English. Currently, she is practicing at Campus Vision U of S. The clinic provides convenient, on-campus eye care services focused on the university community.
