I was blessed to have Dr. Jana look after my Radical Nephrectomy. I am a big man 350lb. I was scared, but please Rest Easy :) You are in exceptional care with Dr. Jana. Intelligent and empathetic. Upon meeting him you can tell he is sharp, answered all my questions, re-assured me all will be ok and that he understood that these procedures aren't routine for us patients. When I entered the OR, his team made me feel so relaxed, the anesthesiologist was super funny as well. A scary experience turned into a great memory. Dr. Jana gave me the confidence I needed and eased my worries to literally nil. I cant thank you enough for saving my life Dr. Jana. You are a gem is 10 Stars

I just finished my first appt with Dr Jana. I have a serious condition that required his attention.. His personal attention to detail and fully explaining my options were much appreciated. Although he is a very busy and in demand dr. I felt that he gave me his full attention and answered all of my questions and concerns. I have confidence in proceeding with surgery and follow up treatment with Dr. Jana

I was referred to Dr. McKinny for a suspected cyst in my left kidney. She was very pleasant and detailed. She felt it did not warrant any further action at this time but would contact me in a year to request another CT scan. We also discussed some minor urinary issues I was having. While relatively minor, she said there were treatments available if I was interested. She took time to thoroughly explained several medications and suggested one to begin with and try for a few months. When the prescription expired, I called Dr. McKinny and we agreed to try a different prescription. I have found Dr. McKinny very approachable, friendly and thorough. She is very understanding and compassionate, She made me feel very comfortable discussing a rather awkward male topic (urinary issues) with a female doctor.

Dr McKinny is an outstanding physician. She has helped me through a very unusual problem urological problem that had been a long standing issue. She is very responsive and caring of her patients needs. Truly goes above and beyond what is required. When another issue arose from this she was quick to respond and booked another surgery to correct. We need more physicians like her in this province.

Dr. McKinny was very good at explaining what to expect with the cytoscopy and performed the procedure easily and painlessly. She is very patient and highly trained. I was able to watch the camera footage she used to look inside and I got to learn about my bladder and kidneys. If you have her performing the procedure, consider yourself in good hands.
