Dr Marchuck is the best neurosurgeon in Thunder Bay. He did a biopsy on my brain tumor and did an amazing job with sewing my head back up and shaving the least amount of hair possible. Out of all the specialists/ doctors I have ever seen in my life time, he is by far the best in all fields. This man is to the point and doesn't beat around the bush. I 100% recommend this amazing doctor, I did and will trust him with my life, and so should everyone else.

I met with Dr Marchuk twice for a consult. He was very honest and explained everything and took as much time as I needed. Had major back pain/leg nerve pain/drop foot. After about 8 months(not his fault, thanks Covid) i finally got my surgery. It went perfect. An L4/L5 fusion. No issues and he check up on my daily in the hospital. Absolutely no pain in my back or nerve pain. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Very informative and personable. Thank you for giving me my walking and standing back. I forgot what it was like to not have any back/nerve pain.

Dr Marchuk recently did surgery on me to remove a tumour that was crushing my spinal cord. He was very forward, explained everything perfectly. He was thorough, in depth and to the point. The surgery went exactly as he stated, I can’t thank him and his team enough as well as all of the staff on 3C Neuro Intensive Care at TBRHSC. It was refreshing to have straight forward answers to all of my questions, no beating around the bush from Dr Marchuk and all involved. Thank you!! - S Reply

DR. STEPHEN MCCLUSKEY - THUNDER BAY REGIONAL HEALTH SCIENCES CENTRE REVIEWS

My life would have been much different as I know it if not for Dr. McCluskey. Skillful surgeon, caring, good bedside manner. I’m 6 weeks post-op and recovery is going very well. Almost all pain is gone, working through some nerve issues which hopefully in time also recover. Even if they didn’t, I would still rate Dr. McCluskey 5 stars. I am now off all narcotics, anti-inflammatories, Tylenol and Gabapentin. I feel like I have a life again and with every day I grow stronger. A huge Thank you to Dr. McCluskey, assistant Victoria and all the staff at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Dr mccluskey is an excellent doctor, very good surgeon for a big man he's very gentle, my surgery on my neck is a delicate one, easy recovery very little scar he's top shelf in my books thank you Dr Mcluskey can't say enough great things about him and his stunning secretary she is a delight to talk to very professional 5 stars all the way.

One of the best Dr.s out there. Very caring, great bedside manner. Spent a lot of time with me to make sure I understood everything fully. Even came in Thanksgiving Day to make sure everything was going well pre-op. I had no complications and healed and recovered fully from my surgery.
