“Dr. Kristine Miller graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 1997, achieving the Dean’s Honours List. During her studies, she completed an externship focused on ocular disease and therapeutics at the Vitreal Retinal Foundation in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Miller has practiced extensively in Thunder Bay, offering a wide range of eye care services. She has a particular interest in pediatric eye care and laser vision correction, having undergone bladeless LASIK herself in 2005. Dr. Miller is now fully certified by the College of Optometrists of Ontario to prescribe medications for treating eye conditions following recent legislative changes in Ontario. She is currently practicing at Harbourview Optometry Centre. The clinic also provides eye exams and emergency services and manages a variety of ocular diseases. Great experience. Had an appointment scheduled. I was looked after on time by the friendliest frontline person. Dr. Letwin did a comprehensive eye exam. It's been a while since I could see this well. He took the time to answer questions and I felt comfortable enough to ask questions. The whole experience was professional and inviting.

Dr Letwin is fantastic, as is the office staff. Very accommodating, helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. We will absolutely continue to use him for our family.

Very pleased with my first visit.. Dr Letwin took time to explain everything to me , I felt I received excellent service.

I was having some issues with my eyes, I made an appointment with Dr M Letwin I was very nervous wondering what was going on with my eyes. I felt so comfortable with him and was blown away how knowledgeable he was and explained so much to me about what was happening. Never have I had an appointment with an optometrist that was so incredibly smart and knew what he was talking about. We’ve been going to Harbourview Optometry for many years. We’ve always been pleased with the customer service, the care, the selection of frames, and the quick turnaround time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Harbourview shows nothing but compassion and care for their patients. After a terrible experience at the local emergency room I decided to seek a 2nd opinion from an optometrist, Everywhere either wasn’t taking new patients or booking weeks ahead. After explaining my health and situation Carol put me down on the wait list and pulled some strings to get me in that afternoon! Thankfully she did as I had some major issues going on. Thank you for actually caring and going the extra step, it’s definitely noticed and appreciated This place is a breath of fresh air compared to other medical professionals in this town.

Fantastic service, family visiting from a long distance away and we needed help with a repair to finish our trip here. They were prompt, delightful and super helpful getting us back moving :) thank you all!

My MD asked me to see Dr McKiel for verification and treatment for Iritis. I was given an appointment same day, which was unexpected. Dr McKiel was quick to give me the help I needed. I was given follow appointments, and followed closely. It isn't everyday you get to interact with a Doctor that is grounded, down to earth and in touch with his patients. For someone that has been in and out of the health care system, I found this unique and refreshing. I can not say Thank You enough to him and his staff.

Excellent experience with Dr. McKiel. I recently had my comprehensive eye examination done. Dr. McKiel were able provide honest opinion to my concerns with explaining the reasons behind it. Very friendly and helpful staff, I got my new pair of glasses done here. Staff member helped me select the pair of frames and recommended other products which goes well. All at one place solution surely recommended place to visit for eye care.

My visit to superior vision centre was wonderful. The staff is friendly, and the selection of eyewear is like no other in this area. Dr. McKiel was very thorough. I will definitely recommend him and his business to many.
