“Dr. Surjinder Sahota studied Bio-Psychology at the University of British Columbia. In 1996, she began her Doctor of Optometry program at the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO), graduating with Cum Laude honours in 2000. Following graduation, Dr. Sahota completed a prestigious residency at the Illinois Eye Institute in Ocular Disease/Primary Care, working with renowned ophthalmologists from the University of Chicago. After her residency, she returned to Williams Lake to practice Optometry until December 2006, then joined Complete EyeCare Optometry in January 2007. Dr. Sahota served as president of the British Columbia Association of Optometrists from 2011 to 2013 and has been a board member since 2008. Currently, she represents BC for the Canadian Association of Optometrists. Dr. Sahota is passionate about public education on eye health and vision preservation, contributing to patient education through the public relations committee. She currently practices at Complete EyeCare Optometry, which provides comprehensive eye care services, including high-quality prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contacts.”
