3 Best Optometrists in Gatineau, QC

It was an overall outstanding experience from reception to exit. Everyone was very kind and also very bilingual! I want to give a very special shoutout to Dre. Nada Ghazal and the Opticien Elliott. Dre. Nada was very nice and and took the time to explain my test results since she saw I showed interest in learning. Did not feel rushed and/or condescending at all, really an amazing experience with the Doctor. For the Opticien Elliott, he is cleary beaming with passion and loves what he does. Elliott was very transparent in what I needed or did not need and did not push the sales any further than necessary if I was uninterested. Really a great guy doing great work. Highly recommended to all!

There was a wide selection of frames to pick in which I had received great help in picking one that would fit me. The staff was very friendly and professional. Very pleased with the service, thank you :)

I went to the clinic, this afternoon for my annual eye and vision health exam. I was accompanied by my wife of 51 years who had an appointment, the same day. We were greeted by a smiling and kind receptionist who answered our questions, took care of the paperwork and went out of her way to get the answers regarding a frame problem that I had with my glasses even if the frame was not bought there as it dated over 4 years ago. I then met with a helpful kind and smiling technician who explained facts about frame branches that I didn't know. Her explanation helped me decide what course to take with respect to frames. I then met with a new employee in charge of administering the preparatory tests that my eye doctor needs before doing her own exam. Again the politeness, smile and eager to assist attitude was exceptional. I saw, in my opinion, the best Optometrist in the business, Dr. Nada Ghazal, who as usual showed that a) She knows what she does, b) explains clearly what she is doing all through the exam, c) does a thorough exam specially for a diabetic like me with the pupil dialation test and all. Cataracts being present, she explained what they were, what treatment options consisted of and arranged for a consult with a specialist. Dr. Ghazal is a smiling dedicated eye doctor that I hold in high esteem because of her thoughtfulness , explanatory skills, her very smooth and calming attitude towards me and my family. Having said that, I have recommended her for my own family and grandkids and they just love her. I then met Renee whose help with the new frame was great and indispensable. If I could give this team a 10, I would without hesitation. - LM Reply
