“Dr. Alisa Khan graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2005, earning a Doctor of Optometry degree and an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the same university. She completed an externship in therapeutics and ocular diseases at the Ophthalmic Consultant Centers-Canadian Center for Advanced Eye Therapeutics in 2004 in Mississauga. Dr. Khan has been teaching students in the Contact Lens Clinic and Primary Care Clinic at the University of Waterloo, where she also serves as a Clinical Supervisor. She is affiliated with TLC, a vision correction company. Dr. Khan provides home visits to seniors in long-term care facilities and conducts seminars on children's vision at the Milton Public Library and the Early Years Childhood Education program at the MCRC. Dedicated to serving underserved communities, she participated in an eye care mission in Villahermosa Tabasco, Mexico, where she performed eye exams for locals, with plans for more missions in the future. Currently, she practices at Milton Eye Care, specializing in comprehensive eye care services. The clinic accepts primary insurance and offers designer frames and branded contact lenses.”
