Dr. Drew is outstanding! I believe him to be top in his field. If he can help you, he will. Back pain can be complex and very often, tricky to treat - surgically or otherwise. Dr. Drew is not a surgeon to perform a surgical procedure, unless he knows improvement is possible. Not all back issues fit that bill. Aside from his incredible knowledge, he happens to be a very nice, personable guy! Although bedside manner is not crucial, when seeking out an excellent physician, it does help. I find he takes a great deal of time to listen, assess and guide. If you've had a bad experience with Dr. Drew, perhaps your expectations are beyond the possibilities? Also, his assistant is a great person to deal with! It has to be a tough job, working for a busy, in demand, highly specialized surgeon. I can imagine it would be difficult to deal with patients who expect instant communication, appointments, etc.

Dr. Drew did my spinal fusion on my L5 disc back in 2012. He saved my life from constant pain. He will not do unnecessary surgery, he only did mine cause I tried everything else out there. Chiropractor, physio, massage I even went through 8 years of epidural injection hoping that one day it may work. But unfortunately never did. This was my very last option. He told me the risks that it may not work, but this was my last option so I took it. I've never regretted it. 12 years later still doing well. Thank you Dr. Drew.

I will thank Dr. Drew for the rest of my life ... Dr has performed surgery on my back disc. He does not waste time on empty talk and his actions are clear and precise. Advice and help are invaluable. He did his job professionally and gave me back the ability to move freely again and relieved me of my crazy daily pain. I bow downto to you doctor !!!.

Had my rotator cuff and slap labrum surgery from dr. Bischoff. He said it was one of the worst shoulders he had seen. He performed my surgery in 2005. A couple years later I was having my first amateur boxing fight with 0 issues. 16 years later my shoulder is still holding up quite well. Hes a great doctor and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. - AM Reply
