I had a skiing accident knee injury 20 years ago. Over the years what the initial surgery repaired has weakened to the point of a re-tear in the medial meniscus. I put up with the swelling and pain for a few years until I met Dr. Rogakou. She matter of factly stated, yes I will repair it and it will be great again. Following surgery I had relatively no pain and was back skiing again in 12 weeks. A Monovisc injection, at Dr. Rogakou's recommendation, has completed the procedure. I have no pain and am back to activity comfortably. Dr. Rogakou is very experienced, thorough and straightforward. She answers your questions fully and honestly. Outstanding Doctor. I had hip replacement surgery, over a year ago and she did a fabulous job. She's very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what will happen, and after surgery, she is very thorough with the follow up.
