“Dr. Sameer Patel earned his Honours Bachelor of Science in human biology from the University of Toronto. He has always wanted to work in healthcare, so he pursued his Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he earned a second Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and received an award for clinical excellence. He completed an ocular disease rotation at Aker Kasten Eye Center in Boca Raton, Florida, working with eye doctors to care for cataract patients and those with corneal and retinal diseases.
