“Dr. Jim Ng Cheong Tin completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo, majoring in Honours Science (BSc). He earned his Doctor of Optometry (OD) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Vision Sciences from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. He focused on primary eye care, binocular vision, and children's eye health during his studies. He was president of the Students of Optometry Servicing Humanity (SOSH) chapter at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Ng Cheong Tin gained practical experience at various locations, including the Indian Health Services Hospital in Bethel, Alaska, the US Army Base Hospital in Wuerzberg, Germany, and The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. Currently, he practices at Kawartha Lakes Optometry. The clinic is committed to serving the community with high-quality vision care, utilizing the most advanced technology.
