“Musée du Haut-Richelieu is a well-maintained museum in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC. The museum was established in 1971 and has been active in preserving and promoting regional history and Quebec ceramics, both old and contemporary. The museum's collections feature over 15,000 artifacts, including 6,000 ceramic objects, 6,000 ethnographic items, and more than 3,200 photographs from the Pinsonneault collection, which documents the work of photographer Joseph-Laurent Pinsonneault in capturing the region's history. The museum provides an ideal learning and exploration experience for all age groups through its exhibits and diverse activities. Musée du Haut-Richelieu's multipurpose room can also be rented, adding a unique character to events. Admission is free for children aged five and under.”
