St. Albert Botanic Park is a 5-acre botanical garden that grew out of an idea established in 1990 by two residents of St. Albert who share a love of horticulture. Volunteers and two summer workers run and take care of the park. The park has grown into what it is today with time and effort donated by community members and garden lovers. St. Albert Botanic Park also holds outdoor weddings and other community events. The botanical garden has become a popular place where people come together. Their gift shop, patio, and washrooms are open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, daily from May to August.
